Maria Renee Rodriguez was elected as the IRF Athlete Representative in 2018. She has represented Guatemala as a junior and adult competitor.She was a Young Change Maker on the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018.

As the Athlete Representative on the IRF Board of Directors, Rodriguez serves as the voice of athletes. She is available to listen and gather athletes' ideas toward improving the state of racquetball as well as bringing athletes' perspectives to the IRF Board.
