ROAD TO SANTO DOMINGO 2026:

THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN FOR RACQUETBALL IN THE CENTRAL AMERICAN & CARIBBEAN GAMES
The journey to one of the most important multi-sport events in the region is reaching its final stretch.
The XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026 will officially open on July 24, 2026, marking the start of more than two weeks of elite competition across the Americas.
As of today, there are:
⏳ 32 days remaining until the Opening Ceremony.
The Games will bring together thousands of athletes from across the region, but for Racquetball, the countdown carries an even sharper focus.

🏓 RACQUETBALL COUNTDOWN
Racquetball will begin competition shortly after the Opening Ceremony, with athletes taking center stage at the Pabellón de Racquetball, Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte in Santo Domingo.
⏳ 33 days remaining until Racquetball competition begins
📅 Start date: July 25, 2026
🏁 End date: August 1, 2026
Over eight days of competition, the sport will showcase the full spectrum of elite racquetball in the region.

🎯 COMPETITION FORMAT
Athletes will compete across a complete medal program including:
  • Men’s Singles
  • Women’s Singles
  • Men’s Doubles
  • Women’s Doubles
  • Mixed Doubles
  • Men’s Team Event
  • Women’s Team Event
A total of 28 medals will be awarded across all disciplines.

🏆 ROAD TO LIMA 2027
Beyond medals, the stakes are even higher.
The countries that win the Men’s and Women’s Team Events will secure qualification to the XX Pan American Games Lima 2027, adding a decisive layer of pressure and prestige to the team competition.

🌎 THE BIGGER PICTURE
​The Santo Domingo 2026 Games will host more than 6,000 athletes from across the region, reinforcing their status as one of the most historic and important sporting events in the Americas.
For Racquetball, it is more than a competition—it is a defining moment in the road to continental qualification, legacy, and national pride.
